We are turning a page on 2022, sharing one of our Paris picnic birthday celebration. It has been a real fun (although quite an intense year) for us. We have had the pleasure to organise many gourmet picnics for an international clientele both in Paris and Versailles. Today, we sit back and enjoy the moment over the festive season with family in Normandy. We haven’t had much time through out the year to share visuals of our picnic productions on Love Picnic Paris. Lets take this opportunity to send our best wishes to everyone for the New Year & celebrate our families and friendships with this picnic story.

Loving our Paris picnics

It has been over 5 years since we prepared our first picnic for a client at the Eiffel tower. Time flies, it is a little crazy. Each year, we are getting a little busier with our picnic ventures. We have met many wonderful people through out the year. Some of our clients, visiting Paris again are coming back to us for another picnic experience. It is wonderful to meet new clients and to catch up with old ones! The original idea was to share a bit of our passion for French traditions in a casual manner. We wanted to share our love for traditional French picnics with good products, good wines and a lot of passion. We are proud to say that “Love Picnic Paris” is successful. We are even getting queries for winter picnics at the Eiffel tower now.

You may be interested in having “Love Picnic Paris” organise your Paris birthday celebration.
It is probably best to send us an email with any ideas that you may have in mind. You can add the number of guests as well as a possible date to this email. We would gladly organise your gourmet picnic at the Eiffel tower up to 30 guests. A tipycal menu would be French traditional baguette, a selection of French cheeses, selection of cold meats, French market salad, a vegetable quiche, seasonal fruits and deserts.
We often produce gourmet picnics for birthday parties, as well as bachelorettes and family reunions in the city. The Eiffel tower is a perfect background for a smashing event. We collaborate with the best Paris photographer. We can also suggest musicians and magicians to untertain your event.

A Parisian style birthday picnic.

There are 1001 ways to enjoy a birthday celebration in Paris. Our client contacted “Love Picnic Paris” to surprise her husband with a gourmet picnic at the champ de mars for his 40th birthday anniversary. We suggested a spot we favor off the main path of the park. Considering that the Eiffel tower stands at the edge of the park and that the surroundings are considered to be the number one touristic destination in Paris, it is surprisingly quite peaceful. It is also one of our favorite picnic location alongside the Trocadero gardens and the Luxembourg gardens in saint Germain des Près. Steps away from the Eiffel tower, you feel like you have the city to yourself at this champ de Mars picnic location! There are also lots of gorgeous trees on the site where one can shed in case of a summer heat wave! It is also a perfect way to end a morning tour with your Paris tour guide.

We have four different gourmet picnics to choose from. I would suggest you head to our service page for an overall view of our 4 different picnic styles. Jolinda opted for our ” Edith Piaf ” romantic picnic set up which we customized for her. Her picnic came with a traditional baguette, a selection of cold meats as well as a selection of French cheeses. They enjoyed a vegetable quiche with a fresh market salad followed by roast beef and ratatouille. She surprised her husband with a chocolate birthday cake. ( We added a few candles and a lighter for the event ). Our romantic French style picnic is served with a bottle of champagne and macarons for the sweet tooths.

While our first three picnics come with a traditional red squared blanket & our traditional wicker blankets, ” Edith Piaf ” is a little more elaborate! we will have your gourmet picnic all ready for you to enjoy with our baskets, cushions, an umbrella, balloons, candles. We collaborate with a professional photographer who can capture those precious moments for you. Olivier took a few photos of our clients when they arrived at the picnic so that he could capture the surprise effect! Once our clients finished their lunch, Olivier took them around the champ de mars for a mini walking tour around the eiffel tower so that they have gorgeous memories of the day in the city. They had a great time and it was a lot of fun for us to put everything together.

It is this time of the year where many of you are planning their summer vacation to France. Many of you have had their suitcase packed with a few essentials, some great books, and a passport ready for a while! Well, finally summer has arrived! “Love Picnic Paris” is getting prepared to welcome all of our future clients to the city. For the ones who discover “Love Picnic Paris”, a few words of welcome. Let us introduce our delightful Parisian style gourmet picnics.

We offer 4 different gourmet picnics that you can order directly while visiting our service page.

The process is simple. You first choose your preferred picnic style from our classic “Léon picnic” to a more elaborate “Amelie Poulain picnic”. We also have a choice of a sweet picnic for the afternoon as well as our special “Edith Piaf gourmet picnic” catered specially for lovers and a romantic afternoon. All of our picnics include a surprise set up. Your picnic will be ready for you with its traditional wicker baskets when you arrive on site. You can enjoy your time with family and friends without having to worry about the logistics. Everything is taken care of for you.

How to process your picnic order.

Once you have chosen your style of picnic with your selected menu, you can add a few options such as a bottle of champagne, a bouquet of flowers. We can assist you with the finding of a professional musician. Our creative photographer will be delighted to guide you through the streets of Paris for some great photos. The process is easy and can be completed in a couple of minutes. You have the possibility to add a note to your order should you have a question or a comment. We will get back to you promptly within the next 24 hours. Once you have completed your order, click and send.

You will receive a confirmation email including your picnic order details. Payment can be done once we have finalized location and timing with you via email.

Your Paris picnic location.

Once we receive your order, we will reach out to fine tune everything with you. At this time, we will suggest a few sites around the city where we could have your picnic ready for you to enjoy. We will go through the delivery and picnic set up with you, making sure that nothing is missing to your order. We will then reserve the date and time for you with your chosen location. The gardens of the Trocadero with the view of the Eiffel tower is an old time favorite. The Trocadero area is the perfect location to take some gorgeous photographs with the Eiffel tower in the background. The gardens of the Louvre as well as the Luxembourg gardens are also possible locations for you to enjoy one of our delightful picnic. By the way, all of our picnics come with our traditional French style wicker baskets. They are all crafted by les Jardins de la Comtesse. Once everything is finalized, you can pay for your order via paypal or a wire transfer.

A gourmet picnic for larger groups and corporate events in Paris.

For picnics over 8 clients, should it be for a birthday celebration or a corporate event, it is best tosend us an email directly at hellolovepicnic@gmail.com or via our contact page. We will customize directly one of our gourmet picnic together. Our group picnics generally take place at the Champ de mars overlooking the Eiffel tower or the gardens of Versailles. You will find on this article a few photographs illustrating one of our most recent group picnic at the champ de mars. All of our picnics are set up in a traditional manner with our wicker baskets, our red squared picnic tablecloths, balloons and flowers. We propose in our menus a selection of French cheeses as well as a selection of cold meats. We will prepare a selection of tasty vegetable quiches and market mixed salads with french breads and traditional chips. Our favorite deserts are usually chocolate cakes with a lemon yogurt homemade cake!

Our stylish package is a specially crafted winter picnic set ready for the ultimate Parisian proposal at the foot of the Eiffel tower. Our gourmet picnic includes cashmere plaids and warm blankets to cuddle up under a Parisian sky.

“Love Picnic Paris” will decorate the site with our newly designed picnic set below. This year we have added candles and lights to decorate your picnic. Our selection of Parisian pillows will decorate the set with our traditional wicker picnic baskets. Your picnic will be served with champagne, hot wine, tea or coffee. We will have some balloons flying up high. We can include a specially crafted romantic bouquet of flowers. A romantic winter picnic for your proposal.

We ourselves love the idea of having a romantic picnic in the city regardless of the season. We call it ” our Romantic adventure ” which we have decided to share with everyone. Reach out via email to book your date. Do not hesitate to ask questions. We are here to help. Our goal is to make your unique Paris proposal a dream come true.

We would ask you to be a little flexible with time and day. We may need to move your picnic hour a little in case of rain. There is a gorgeous sheltered site which we use at the champ de mars. It is designed by Gustave Eiffel. It has public benches where we can set up your picnic in case of light rain. You would be all rapped up in our cashmere blankets. Time will stop, you will just enjoy the moment together with the woman of your life. You will propose in style, pop up the bottle of champagne and enjoy the moment.

Our photographer would be capturing your proposal from the distance.We can also include a very cheap bottle of sparkling (to shake, pop and spray – for the photo session)

Once your lunch comes to an end, Olivier will take you around the Eiffel tower site for your engagement photo session. The photo session can go from one to three hours in the streets of Paris depending on your special needs.

The fall Paris picnic season has arrived, with it some beautiful days ahead. The vista over the Eiffel tower is soon going to turn gold … And we simply cannot wait to enjoy those beautiful afternoon delivering our picnic baskets in the city for everyone to enjoy.

For those of you who visit our website for the first time, I have included to this post a few general guidelines about our company. It is a real delight to prepare and set up one of our Parisian gourmet picnic for couples, families and friends at one or our picnic location such as the champ de Mars or the Trocadero gardens overlooking the Eiffel tower.

Below is the map of where the picnic would normally be set up for you. It is very close to the foot of the Eiffel tower, quite peaceful and easily accessible. Please note that we also offer picnics at the Luxembourg gardens, the Louvre gardens as well as the gardens of versailles.

Family picnic affair in the city.

We cater for couples as well as larger groups looking for a unique Parisian experience. You will find four different picnic menus to choose from in our service page. Each of our gourmet picnics can be catered to your very unique requirements.

Our group picnics are served with traditional French baguette, cured meats and hand selected cheeses. The picnic comes with a vegetable quiche as well as a seasonal market salad. All of our picnics include a surprise set up with our wicker baskets, blankets, balloons. We propose a more elaborate decoration set up with cushions, candles and umbrellas for our romantic “Edith Piaf ” gourmet picnic. Regardless of the picnic you opt for, all that you have to do is enjoy your time with your family without having to worry about logistic. We will set up your picnic for you. We will be on call during the picnic hours and present to clear the picnic set up for you once you are finished. You can simply carry on with your visit or your photo session after your lunch. The picnic is usually set up for you by 13h30 but time is really flexible.

Our secret proposal services include creative photography which you will find as an option in our service page as well as champagne, musician and so on.

For picnics over two people, it is best to contact us directly for a quote. Please note that our picnics appeal to a high end clientele. We do not offer “Picnics to go” in paper bags. Our picnics are in a way quite elaborate. Below you will find sample visuals with our wicker baskets and classic “Edith Piaf” set up. Again, our picnics are all prepared and set up by us at a chosen location prior to meeting our clients. When they arrive on site the picnic is all ready for you to enjoy.

Paris secret proposal at the Louvre

We have officially entered the fall season in Paris with a lovely secret proposal at the Louvre gardens! Ivan, our client contacted us a while back to assist him with the planning of his proposal to his long time girlfriend. We decided on the Louvre gardens to set up one of our gourmet picnic. The picnic was all ready to enjoy by 12h30. Ivan was to arrive at the location after a morning bike ride. He surprise his girlfriend with the proposal, crack the bottle of champagne open and enjoy our “Edith Piaf” picnic with his lover surrounded by French history.

Ivan especially requested for a peaceful location in the city center close to the place Vendome where the morning ride was to end. The Louvre is one of the main visited site in the city right after the eiffel tower. It attracts millions of tourist yearly. The park is located in between the museum and the tuilerie gardens. It happens to be peaceful and a perfect location for a romantic afternoon.

Lifestyle photography for your secret proposal.

We organized for our photographer to be present when our couple first arrived at the beginning of the picnic hour. Olivier discretely captured the proposal from the distance without being noticed. He carried on taking photographs while Ivan opened the bottle of champagne. He then moved forward and introduced himself so that he could take a few portraits of the two of them before they enjoyed their lunch. After lunch hour, they all walked around the Louvre museum for their engagement photo session. The photos were all retouched and sent out the very next day.

Our clients received over 100 photographs carefully edited by Olivier. You will find a few visuals from the day below. It is very difficult to decide on which photos to showcase because there are just so many gorgeous images! You will find a few photographs of the picnic set up, the actual proposal and photos taken in the afternoon over one hour.

The picnic is set up with cushions, candles, an umbrella, balloons. It includes our wicker basket which is of course part of the decor as well as a bottle of champagne.

” Love Picnic Paris” had a fun time yesterday with a lovely couple from Australia who flew to Europe for their Honeymoon! ” Love Paris Picnic ” is all about Paris! Our clients are friends, families and couples who wish to enjoy a special moment with a gourmet picnic and creative photography while they visit the city. We can orchestrate your secret Paris proposal, a family reunion, a friends get together, important moments in your life while you are vacationing in France.

Greg and Annie had a gourmet Picnic in Paris yesterday. Olivier took a few photographed with our couple in a lifestyle manner around the Eiffel tower and the trocadero site. I love those huge smiles and happy faces on Annie and Greg honeymoon photos session.

Annie contacted us from Italy a few days prior to their arrival in Paris. She wanted to surprise her husband with a gourmet picnic and a photo session. She decided to couple our “Amelie Poulain” picnic with one hour of photography around the Eiffel tower. Our picnic was all set up for them when they arrived at the champ de mars by 13h00. They settled down while Olivier snapped a few photos of the two of them to begin with; our wicker basket and a couple of red balloons in sight!

You can find our four different picnic menus in “Love Picnic Paris” service page. You can easily choose your preferred picnic from this page. You can pick on the date and time in the roll down menu as well. You may add various options such as flowers, champagne and photography to your liking. Our mini photo session, half an hour of photography is charged at € 180. This includes a set of photographs all edited and retouched with a set of low and high resolution files both for the internet and printing. We make a point that we sent you all of the photos back to you via “wetransfer” the next day.

Once we’ve received your order, we will fine tune all of the little details with you. We will then ask you to pay for your picnic via paypal. You have 24 hours to complete your purchase. Please do not hesitate to share with us any special request that you may have.

What about if the weather is not cooperating!

The weather had been a little temperamental recently and we had our noises stuck to our weather forecast board the previous days.

The best location to set up a picnic for photos and vista is the Trocadero area. It is a large open space. It can be a little windy at times though. There are people passing by. Down below from the main square is always pretty quiet. You’ll get the most amazing view of the eiffel tower from across the seine. In case of possible rain & showers, we would set up the picnic on the other side of the park. It is a little quieter and at the foot of the Eiffel tower. We posted a few photos from the champ de mars area yesterday so that you can have a more precise idea of the site.

The champ de mars area is usually where we would set up a picnic in case of rain. There is a shelter area just around the corner from our usual picnic set up with a view of the eiffel tower. This is exactly what we did for Annie and Greg. We first went to the Trocadero on the day. We then decided it would be best to set up the picnic at our location on the champ de mars after all. Olivier simply contacted our clients by phone with the map below to advise them on the final picnic location.

You usually have one hour to enjoy this very parisian moment. Once Annie and Greg had finished their picnic, they simply walk over to the seine with Olivier for their photo session. Looking at the final set of photographs, I think that everyone had a great time!

We ask you to be reachable by phone on the morning of your picnic. We may need to reassess our set up plans because of the weather. In case of possible rain, we would usually decide once we get to the site what would be the best possible set up for the day. We would then communicate the location via text message with a map.

Paris secret proposal in the spring

January in Paris; the end of the year celebrations are now behind us. We would like to wish a wonderful year to each and everyone of you who have been following and supporting “Love Picnic Paris”.

We are very grateful to everyone who have reached out to us for a gourmet picnic and a lifestyle photo session in the city those past couple of years. We’ve met many lovely couples and families visiting the city from all over the world. It has been exciting to be able to share our love for the city with so many of you!

We have prepared many gourmet picnics to cater for friends and families, small and larger groups. We have planned many secret proposals around Paris this past year as well. “Love Picnic Paris” is now getting new bookings for the spring season for both gourmet picnics and creative photography with Olivier. We cannot wait to meet all of you in Paris again this year.

Love Picnic Paris started with the desire to share our passion for our city; enjoying a gourmet picnic with friends and family. Olivier happens to be a very talented portrait photographer. We wanted to propose a unique service where clients would enjoy a relaxing moment at one of Paris beautiful park. Paris secret proposal

The weather is incredibly warm for the season at the moment! Not sure it is a good thing by the way, but this is another topic. We assisted Joe this past week preparing for his Paris secret proposal at the eiffel tower. There is no season for LOVE, anything is possible in Paris.

Joe ordered our “Edith Piaf” gourmet picnic at the Trocadero gardens including one hour photo session with Olivier once our couple had enjoyed their lunch and cracked open the bottle of champagne.

The Trocadero area is great for photos. It is located on a hill overlooking the seine and the eiffel tower which you can admire in the distance. It is an amazing view point for photography. Although it can get a little crowded at time, the trocadero area is definitely a prime location for some great photography with the Eiffel tower and the city scape.

We are now starting to take bookings for the spring season. We have had a few couples contacting us to plan their surprise gourmet picnic already. A few of you have reserved their date for their forthcoming secret proposal too. We are now proposing picnics and photography in the gardens of Versailles this year as well.

Indian summer in Paris!

We have had a gorgeous month and october is even more beautiful … You are in the city with the intention to propose to your girlfriend, or simply visiting with your love one … You are looking for something unique to do, something utterly romantic! Well, it is the perfect time to enjoy one of our gourmet picnic and a couple photo session at the Eiffel tower, just like Ashley and Kent did yesterday. They flew from California; first time in Paris, a gourmet picnic overlooking the eiffel tower is a wonderful Parisian experience. Ashley had contacted us a while back to arrange for our “Leon picnic ” and a photo session with Olivier.

We set up their picnic at the Trocadero gardens so that when they arrived at the location, all they had to do was open the bottle of wine & enjoy this special moment. Olivier met up with them an hour later for their couple photo session. They had booked a mini photo session with us to complement their romantic afternoon.

Below a few of the photos taken around the Trocadero area with the magnificent Eiffel tower in the background. We are often asked for recommendations on what to do, where to go while in Paris! It is always difficult to answer, the city having such a rich cultural heritage. One thing though, if you are going to enjoy one of our gourmet picnic and a photo session with Love Picnic Paris make sure you get some tickets to go up the Eiffel tower. Greg contacted us yesterday to help organize a surprise picnic overlooking the Eiffel tower. He proposed to his long time girl friend Amy… who was overjoyed and a little surprised. They enjoyed our “Léon picnic” with a bottle of champagne, strawberries for dessert and a couple of “Eclair au chocolat” that we picked up on rue Montorgueil. Special treat for a special occasion & not to forget a mini photo session with Olivier around the trocadero to celebrate this very special time in their life.

It is such a treat for us to be able to share our love for picnics with clients flying to Paris from all over the world to enjoy our amazing city. Greg and Amy are Australians and live in Sydney. They are touring europe for a month and stopped over in Paris for a few days. They will be getting married in Australia next year. Olivier started his photographic career working for the “Sydney Morning Hearald” over 20 years ago! That creates a special bound I guess! They had a wonderful time both with their picnic and their photographer. Amy & Greg suggested we come to Sydney for the wedding as Olivier was telling them that it was in Australia that he photographed is first wedding on the beach!

Olivier is a wonderful photographer. We propose some top of the notch portrait photography with one of the most talented and sweetest photographer in town. You can see some of Olivier’s private portraits on his website. Amy & Greg proposal photo session was sent out to them via “Wetransfer” yesterday. We have just received this little note from Greg :

” Thank you so much for everything you and your wife organised today, everything was perfect.

The photos look amazing & we are so glad we have met you.

Extra sweet of them … We are heading to the Trocadero for another surprise picnic set up & a photo session this morning. So stay tune for some more exiting photography in Paris.
