Paris Eiffel tower Honeymoon gourmet picnic and a photo session
We would love to share a few photographs of a gourmet picnic we prepared for a lovely couple from Dubai. Happily married for a little more then a week, they first landed in Paris on their honeymoon journey through France.
They asked us to prepare our “Amelie Poulain” picnic which we set up for them in a traditional wicker basket at the gardens of the Trocadero. It was a gorgeous afternoon with a big sky over the city. The trocadero garden is located across the seine from the eiffel tower. The grounds are a little higher up from the champ de mars. It is a gorgeous open space, with big old trees along both side of the park where you can get shelter from the blasting sun if need be.
We set up our gourmet picnics at a few locations around the city. The trocadero is certainly on top of our clients list because of the amazing view of the Eiffel tower on the other side of the seine. Having a picnic at the trocadero is the perfect stop to enjoy lunch before or after your visit to the tower.
As mentioned, we can set up our picnics at other gorgeous landmarks across the city. The Luxembourg gardens, the tuilerie gardens, place des Vogues are among our favorite places to enjoy a picnic in Paris.

A Gourmet Picnic And a Romantic Photo Session At The Eiffel Tower
A few GORGEOUS photographs from a picnic happening today at the Trocadero followed by a lifestyle photo session with Olivier! Some really cool photographs in black and white. I Love black and white photography… They are so romantic and timeless. I still enjoy looking at my parents pictures when they were young, those old family albums in black and white were just stunning. So glad that black and white is coming back to fashion these days.
Ella and Andrejs enjoyed our “Amelie Poulain” picnic at the Trocadero with an hour of photos around the site. We had the picnic set up for them when they arrived. Ella did not know anything about it. She was a little surprised when she found out! All of the little details had been well planned in advance.
We communicate via text message the morning of if need be, nothing is left aside.We would send you the map of the exact location geolocalized, so that you can let yourself being guided to the spot if need be with your phone. We make sure that the location is very easy to find for everyone, even if you have never been to Paris before.

Greg and Annie had a gourmet Picnic in Paris yesterday. Olivier took a few photographed with our couple in a lifestyle manner around the Eiffel tower and the trocadero site. I love those huge smiles and happy faces on Annie and Greg honeymoon photos session.
Annie contacted us from Italy a few days prior to their arrival in Paris. She wanted to surprise her husband with a gourmet picnic and a photo session. She decided to couple our “Amelie Poulain” picnic with one hour of photography around the Eiffel tower. Our picnic was all set up for them when they arrived at the champ de mars by 13h00. They settled down while Olivier snapped a few photos of the two of them to begin with; our wicker basket and a couple of red balloons in sight!

You can find our four different picnic menus in “Love Picnic Paris” service page. You can easily choose your preferred picnic from this page. You can pick on the date and time in the roll down menu as well. You may add various options such as flowers, champagne and photography to your liking. Our mini photo session, half an hour of photography is charged at € 180. This includes a set of photographs all edited and retouched with a set of low and high resolution files both for the internet and printing. We make a point that we sent you all of the photos back to you via “wetransfer” the next day.
Once we’ve received your order, we will fine tune all of the little details with you. We will then ask you to pay for your picnic via paypal. You have 24 hours to complete your purchase. Please do not hesitate to share with us any special request that you may have.

What about if the weather is not cooperating!
The weather had been a little temperamental recently and we had our noises stuck to our weather forecast board the previous days.
The best location to set up a picnic for photos and vista is the Trocadero area. It is a large open space. It can be a little windy at times though. There are people passing by. Down below from the main square is always pretty quiet. You’ll get the most amazing view of the eiffel tower from across the seine. In case of possible rain & showers, we would set up the picnic on the other side of the park. It is a little quieter and at the foot of the Eiffel tower. We posted a few photos from the champ de mars area yesterday so that you can have a more precise idea of the site.

The champ de mars area is usually where we would set up a picnic in case of rain. There is a shelter area just around the corner from our usual picnic set up with a view of the eiffel tower. This is exactly what we did for Annie and Greg. We first went to the Trocadero on the day. We then decided it would be best to set up the picnic at our location on the champ de mars after all. Olivier simply contacted our clients by phone with the map below to advise them on the final picnic location.
You usually have one hour to enjoy this very parisian moment. Once Annie and Greg had finished their picnic, they simply walk over to the seine with Olivier for their photo session. Looking at the final set of photographs, I think that everyone had a great time!

We ask you to be reachable by phone on the morning of your picnic. We may need to reassess our set up plans because of the weather. In case of possible rain, we would usually decide once we get to the site what would be the best possible set up for the day. We would then communicate the location via text message with a map.

Paris secret proposal
The weather is incredibly warm for the season at the moment! Not sure it is a good thing by the way, but this is another topic. We assisted Joe this past week preparing for his Paris secret proposal at the eiffel tower. There is no season for LOVE, anything is possible in Paris.
Joe ordered our “Edith Piaf” gourmet picnic at the Trocadero gardens including one hour photo session with Olivier once our couple had enjoyed their lunch and cracked open the bottle of champagne.
The Trocadero area is great for photos. It is located on a hill overlooking the seine and the eiffel tower which you can admire in the distance. It is an amazing view point for photography. Although it can get a little crowded at time, the trocadero area is definitely a prime location for some great photography with the Eiffel tower and the city scape.
We are now starting to take bookings for the spring season. We have had a few couples contacting us to plan their surprise gourmet picnic already. A few of you have reserved their date for their forthcoming secret proposal too. We are now proposing picnics and photography in the gardens of Versailles this year as well.

When we started ‘Love Paris Picnic ” the idea was to share our love for picnics, outings with friends and creative photography. Olivier is a very talented photographer with a vast experience in lifestyle and portrait photography.

Back to our lovers outings, we assist you with finding the perfect site, a romantic and peaceful setting. We will set up the most romantic gourmet picnic with one of our wicker basket, lovely cushions, candles, umbrella to shade yourself from the sun if need be. We would also dismantle the set up once you are finished so that you can carry on with your visit without having to worry about returns.
As to photography! Olivier would document your proposal from the distance in a discreet fashion. This way you have some creative visuals of a very important moment in your life. The photos would be retouched and sent out to you the next day so that you can share your love with friends and family while still vacationing.

We have actually put together different packages specially catered for lovers that combine one of our delightful picnic with a photo session in the streets of Paris from a mini 1/2 hour photo shoot to an extensive 3 hours photo tour at some of the most beautiful Paris landmarks with Olivier.
Our picnics are usually set up at the gardens of the Trocarero, the gardens of the Louvre or the Luxembourg gardens. All three Parisian locations have their own specific charm and atmosphere. We love them all! Our picnics can be tailored to your specific needs as well. We have actually put together a vegan picnic recently for one of our client. This was a new experience for us. Jamie proposed at the Louvre gardens. It was a fun event to organize.

It is the perfect time to enjoy one of our gourmet picnic with family and your loved ones!
Looking at those photographs, I am considering to prepare a picnic for ourselves this week end and take off to Versailles for the afternoon. We might just exceptionally be closed on sunday!
I am so jealous of our clients right now and I want to do exactly the same. Those two look so happy together and we are so glad that they had a wonderful afternoon with us in Paris. The photos of their engagement are gorgeous. They are full of life and all natural. They simply look very happy and had a great time in front of Olivier’s camera thanks to his goofiness and wonderful sense of humour. Olivier knows exactly how to make people relax and have fun. It is such a pleasure looking at this serie this morning.
Andreia and Julian enjoyed our “Léon Picnic” late afternoon on the grass of the trocadero. Olivier took them around the Trocadero for a mini photo session once the picnic was over. Our mini photo session lasts half an hour and includes 15 beautifully retouched photographs in high definition ready to print and frame on your wall. Olivier somehow finished quite late last night! I heard they had such a good time that he got carried away with chatting and photography! As a result, they are so many gorgeous portraits of our Brazilian couple with the Eiffel tower in the background.
I am terrible at editing photographs myself and wouldn’t know how to choose. They all look stunning really.
I am so glad we were part of our couple happiness in Paris with our gourmet picnic and the photographs taken by Olivier that I am sure they will cherish for a very long time.
We planned a secret proposal + one of our gourmet picnic for Kunj and Saloni.
Kunj and Saloni’s story is certainly special. These two met when they were just kids and reconnected many years later. Saloni and two of her closest friends planned this trip months ago, but little did she know how it would end. With the help of Saloni’s little sister, Aneri, and Saloni’s friends, Kunj was able to plan a very special proposal with the help of “Love Picnic Paris” at the Trocadero Fountain with breathtaking views of the Eiffel Tower.
We organised their secret proposal, photographed by Olivier who captured this priceless surprise beautifully! This Paris proposal was one for the books ❤️ . Kunj and Saloni’s had one of our gourmet picnic later on at the gardens of the Trocadero. They enjoyed the rest of their day in privacy, below a gorgeous cherry tree all in bloom, looking at the many stars in a beautiful Parisian sky.
Spring has arrived in Paris. We are hoping to organise many other surprise proposal through out the summer for our dear clients. It is such a beautiful feeling to make our client’s dream come true. What more romantic then a surprise proposal in Paris with the Eiffel tower in the background & watching the sun going down, enjoying one of our gourmet wicker picnic basket at the foot of the Eiffel tower.

Technically we are still in winter in Paris, aren’t we? Well, I love winter now, love it so much i had to take off my jumper as I was simply feeling hot at our picnic today!
Beatrice had contacted us a week ago as she was planning the birthday of her lover and partner in crime. She ordered an “Amelie Poulain” gourmet picnic with a surprise set up so that everything was ready for them to simply enjoy the moment they arrived. She asked for extra berries and extra olives + a delicious strawberry birthday cake which we ordered at our bakery in rue Montorgueil and a bottle of champagne to celebrate in style. Beatrice and Johnny had a feast, a wonderful time under a cherry tree with the eiffel tower on the side.
We launched a new trend at the champ de Mars this morning. “Love Picnic Paris” was in the air. I loved Beatrice dress, that she wore for the occasion, simply stunning. Both our clients were extremely happy & having a great time. It is the best thing to be able to make people feel happy and see a big smile on their face.
Olivier took some gorgeous photographs of the two of them cuddling under the tree. The mini photo session was a must really. We love our picnic baskets. Making sure that our clients enjoy the moment in the most beautiful city on earth is very important to us.
The weather was gorgeous today in Paris! Funny, a blogger from Australia sent us a text message asking whether he could order a picnic for the next hour while we were on site. We have been to the Eiffel tower this morning to check on the lady! Yes a little bit frisky in Paris today, we cannot wait for the picnic season to begin in the spring again.
