Lets get engaged in Paris with Love Picnic Paris. We are producing quite a few surprise proposals over the christmas season. Our clients are flying from Australia, New Zealand and the U.S this winter. Paris is a little chilly at the moment, still we are pp having some beautiful days. Christmas is round the corner, hoping for a little snow and a white christmas!

Love Picnic Paris proposes a stylish winter picnic for the christmas season. Our winter DECO picnics include cashmere plaids, cotton blankets, hot tea to keep you warm. We would set up our picnics a little later in the afternoon so that you get a beautiful light for your engagement photo session.
Keep in mind that it gets dark by 17 hours in december.

Lets Propose in Paris in the winter season.

From experience, we would usually set up our proposal gourmet picnics by 15 hours in the winter months. It usually gets a little warmer in the afternoon plus winter light can be quite gorgeous for photography. To propose in Paris in the winter season can be quite unique. We advise you to pack up a wollen hat and scarf in your bag. We would take care of everything else for you.

Best location for a winter proposal is the champ de Mars. It is usually pretty quiet at this time of the year. They are so many gorgeous photo oportunities around the Eiffel tower. Having said that, we LOVE heading to Versailles regardless of the time of the year. The park is always an enchantment.

Each of our engagement gourmet picnics are unique! We make sure that our Paris engagements are tailored to your personnality. Each of the proposal packages that we suggest includes a professional proposal photo session.

Proposal photography stretches from 1/2 hour of photography at the picnic site to 3 hours of photography including various Paris landmarks.
We ask you for a phone number so that we can connect the day before. This way we can also geo localize your proposal picnic via Whatsapp.
Photos will be professionnaly edited and retouched. A large selection will be sent out the next day wia wetransfer. We make sure that you receive your engagement photos the next day ( this is very important to us ).

A Paris Surprise Engagement

A Paris Surprise Engagement.

What a gorgeous september afternoon at the champ de Mars for the engagement of Ambrose and Chloé. A Paris surprise engagement is always a beautiful & exciting moment that we enjoy sharing with our couples. We propose various engagement gourmet picnic packages both in Paris and Versailles. You will find our Paris proposal packages on the engagement page of our website.

Paris Engagement Photographer

Ambrose had decided to propose at the Eiffel tower late afternoon. Our couple had just arrived from Australia the same day. He decided on our first proposal package including a bouquet of flowers as well as one hour of photography.

They enjoyed a traditional picnic menu including a French traditional baguette, a selection of cheeses, selection of cold meats, a market salad, seasonal fruits and desert. We set up our traditional picnic set for them along the main area of the champ de Mars with the Eiffel tower well in sight.

Paris Professional Engagement Photographer.

Any of the engagement package that we propose are coupled with fun and stylish photography. Our Paris professional engagement photographer will guide you every step of the way. You can just relax and enjoy this very special day, you are in very good hands. The idea is to propose when you arrive at the picnic site. We will suggest that you hide your clothes behind the baskets. This way the decor will be flawless. Once you have settled down, we suggest that you actually propose behind the set so that our photographer can take some wonderful photos. Perfect visuals with your gourmet picnic in the foreground and the Eiffel tower in the background in full bloom.

You will have either half an hour with Olivier or a full hour of photography depending on which package you choose. Our Professional photographer would photograph your proposal from the distance when you arrive to the picnic. He will then introduce himself and take some lifestyle photos of the two of you before you enjoy your picnic.

You will then have an hour and a half to enjoy your Picnic. Once you have finished, you can carry on with your photo session around the Eiffel tower for the remaining time. The selection of Ambrose engagement photos presented were taken over one hour so that you have an idea of what to expect from our engagement photo shoot.

Your engagements photos will be edited, retouched and sent out to you via wetransfer in high resolution the next day. Ambrose and Chloé received a selection of over 50 beautiful photographed in high definition format.

Ambrose engagements photos are typical of what we propose to our clients. A classic, elegant, fun photo session with a wonderful professional with who you will have a wonderful time.

Sunrise proposal in Paris

A sunrise proposal in Paris.

This past week end, we organised a sunrise proposal in Paris! Such a gorgeous morning it was. We set up our deco gourmet picnic at the champ de Mars, overlooking the Eiffel tower. We suggested to our client to propose by 8am. This way they could have the whole park to themselves! It was a lovely morning, the park was indeed very peaceful at this time. There were only a few people around, mainly walking their dogs and jogging. Such a Parisian thing to do!

Marius proposed to his girlfriend when they arrived at the picnic site. We organised half an hour of engagement photos prior to the picnic with our professional photographer. The light is gorgeous at this time of the day. If you are an early bird, it is a great idea to get to the park at sunrise.

Your Eiffel tower engagement.

The Eiffel tower area can get a little busy during the day to say the least. Planning your engagement early enough, you will skip the crowd and enjoy a unique Parisian experience. You also will be able to enjoy the city of light waking up to its full beauty. Because our clients are usually a little jetlag travelling to Paris, it is not too difficult to head to the Eiffel tower that early afterall. I assure you it is really worth it! You will get some great photos for your engagement with our professional photographer.

Your engagement photos will be carefully edited and retouched. The selection will be sent out to you in high resolution format the next day. You will receive a wetransfer link that you can send with your parents back home for the next 7 days.

A unique Parisian experience.

A gourmet picnic at the Eiffel tower is a unique Parisian experience. Whether a sunrise proposal in Paris or a romantic outing with your partner, the experience is also a lot of fun.

Todays clients enjoyed a bottle of chilled champagne with an iced bucket. French traditional baguette, croissants, a selection of cheeses, a vegetable quiche, smoked salmon, sweets and macarons were part of the menu.

Our deco gourmet picnic are set up with our traditional wicker baskets, vintage table cloths, umbrellas, lovely cushions, candles, cashmere plaids and a written menu. We set up to find the best spot when we arrive on site in the morning. Please note that we do propose gourmet picnics at the gardens of Versailles as well. Asim and Ravi in Paris a few days back photographed by Olivier over their gourmet picnic at the champs de mars. We set up our “amelie poulain” picnic at the foot of the eiffel tower for them. The weather was a bit edgy. We decided to opt for the champ de mars rather then the Trocadero because of shelter options on site in case of rain. Olivier had communicated the change of location via google map earlier on. It was Asim and Ravi first time traveling in Europe. Paris was their first destination, which were going to be followed by a few days in Rome and 10 days in Santorini.

Needless to say that they were both overjoyed. Meeting them was a lot of fun. It is always a gift to meet new people in the city. Enjoy a few of their honeymoon photos below. May be we will meet again! Warmest Regards from “Love Picnic Paris”
