We are often asked whether we produce larger scale events? The answer is YES, we do. Should you be interested in having us plan a gourmet picnic at the Eiffel tower for a group, please send us an email with some details of your event in the city. We can produce gourmet picnics for up to 30 guests either in Paris or Versailles gardens. Birthday parties, bachelorette, family get together are a wonderful occasion to celebrate Paris in style. Celebrate your birthday in Paris

We are turning a page on 2022, sharing one of our Paris picnic birthday celebration. It has been a real fun (although quite an intense year) for us. We have had the pleasure to organise many gourmet picnics for an international clientele both in Paris and Versailles. Today, we sit back and enjoy the moment over the festive season with family in Normandy. We haven’t had much time through out the year to share visuals of our picnic productions on Love Picnic Paris. Lets take this opportunity to send our best wishes to everyone for the New Year & celebrate our families and friendships with this picnic story.

Loving our Paris picnics

It has been over 5 years since we prepared our first picnic for a client at the Eiffel tower. Time flies, it is a little crazy. Each year, we are getting a little busier with our picnic ventures. We have met many wonderful people through out the year. Some of our clients, visiting Paris again are coming back to us for another picnic experience. It is wonderful to meet new clients and to catch up with old ones! The original idea was to share a bit of our passion for French traditions in a casual manner. We wanted to share our love for traditional French picnics with good products, good wines and a lot of passion. We are proud to say that “Love Picnic Paris” is successful. We are even getting queries for winter picnics at the Eiffel tower now.

You may be interested in having “Love Picnic Paris” organise your Paris birthday celebration.
It is probably best to send us an email with any ideas that you may have in mind. You can add the number of guests as well as a possible date to this email. We would gladly organise your gourmet picnic at the Eiffel tower up to 30 guests. A tipycal menu would be French traditional baguette, a selection of French cheeses, selection of cold meats, French market salad, a vegetable quiche, seasonal fruits and deserts.

A romantic gourmet picnic at the Eiffel tower with Mark and Danielle.

The Eiffel tower area is probably the first visit one makes landing in Paris. Whether you are visiting for a day, a week or longer, it might just be the first destination you are going to head to, sometimes even before you drop your luggages at your hotel. It is grand, it is a beautiful piece of architecture!

I myself never get bored looking at it! And it is PARIS … I first visited the Eiffel tower with my parents when i was 7 year old. I remember my dad being sea sick from the height!!

We’ve recently had clients who made a point to enjoy one of our gourmet picnic at the eiffel tower just before heading back to the airport with their luggages and everything. Anything is possible. If you are looking for something special, do not hesitate to drop us a line; we will try to accommodate your query the best we can. It is always a real pleasure to cater for clients visiting Paris from all over the world. We have met so many lovely couples and families last year. We are glad the Picnic season is officially launched.

Eiffel tower gourmet picnic with ” Love Picnic Paris “

We have already booked quite a few picnics through out the summer season. We only cater for one picnic at a time. If you wish to reserve a picnic for a particular date, it is important that you reach out to us a little in advance. We are having returning customers this year who booked a picnic alongside a lifestyle family photo session with Olivier at the eiffel tower. This time they are flying with their grand daughter, we are so much looking forward to catching up again! I have to say that we do offer picnic at the Louvre gardens as well as the Luxembourg. Paris is beautiful all over, specially at this time of the year. We are in full spring mode now.

OH! Almost forgot … we do propose special picnic at the gardens of Versailles as well. If you are visiting Versailles this year, ask us for details.

Mark and Danielle enjoyed our “Edith Piaf” gourmet picnic at the champ de mars this past week end. We had set it up for them with cushions, a retro blanket, an umbrella to protect themselves from a blasting sun if need be! Olivier has been a professional photographer for the past 20 years. He collaborates with magazines such as Marie Claire, Stern, The Australian, The New York Times, Gourmet Travelers, Gracia and so on.

Family portraits and a winter picnic at the Eiffel tower

We set up our first winter picnic for a family visiting the city from San Diego this past week. It rained on the day so we decided to have the picnic at one of the sheltered bench a few steps away from the Eiffel tower. This way they could enjoy our gourmet picnic “winter style” with hot coffee & tea and vegetable soup to start with. Our family had a family photo session with Olivier in the morning, they then headed to the champ de Mars for their lunch before visiting the Eiffel tower in the afternoon.

They had purchased Eiffel tower tickets online so that they easily passed the ticket office and the eternal queue of tourist, to reach the elevator which took them all the way to the third floor. It is an incredible experience to climb the tower all the way up and enjoy the incredible view over the city from up there. I was 8 year old when my parents took us there for the first time and i still vividly remember the experience; mainly my dad being sea sick! i remember this gigantesque view, the conquered tower, the grand adventure, running down the steps ahead of our parents, resting on each floor to the ground level again!

A few more words regarding our winter picnic now ready to order! If you are intending to visit the Eiffel tower, it is a great way to have lunch just before or after your visit. We would set up your picnic for you with balloons and blankets so that you do not have to worry about the logistic ( picking up or returning the wicker baskets ). The picnic location would be on the champ de Mars and easily accessible from the tower. We could alternatively set up our picnics at the Luxembourg gardens if weather allows. We would point you to the set up with geo localization and whatsapp in the morning of! We do love ( from time to time ) those new technology which made your life easier! Our winter picnic comes with a bottle of wine ( champagne optional ). It is served with tea and / or coffee, a hot vegetable soup, a market quiche, cheeses and selection of cured meat, fresh market salad and a dessert. ( fruits or chocolate cake ).

Our gourmet picnic can be coupled with a lifestyle photo session with Olivier either prior or after your lunch. A gourmet picnic with “Love Picnic Paris” coupled with a photo session is the ultimate surprise for a secret proposal in the city with your loved one. Angelina + Sam had a lovely gourmet picnic and a photo session with “Love Picnic Paris” this morning. Here are a few of the lovely photos that Olivier took for them at the Trocadero today. We set up our “Amelie Poulain” for them at the gardens of the Trocadero overlooking the Eiffel tower with a bottle of red wine, a market salad, hand picked cheeses & charcuterie at our local artisans on the rue Montorgueil. A carrot + coriander cold soup, ome made chocolate + apple + banana cake as well as some easter eggs for the occasion. It rained a bit in the morning (we had a plan B) just in case, but the weather cleared up to let us enjoy a beautiful day.

Chocolate Cake Picnic Paris

Recipe: My Grand’Ma chocolate & Banana & Coconut.

Cake 250g Dark desert chocolate
250g salted butter
200g sugar
70g flower

2 bananas / 300g coconut powder
4 egg

– Preheat the oven 180°C (Th.6-7)
– Gently melt the chocolate “au bain marie” then let it cool..
– Mix butter in ambiant temperature with the sugar for 4mn. Then mix the eggs one after the other mixing vigorously in between each eggs.
– Add the chocolate and flower. Mix up delicately.
– The final composure should have a mousse texture!
– 30mn in the oven

Now once ready quite important WAIT until the next morning until you enjoy your “gateau au chocolat”.
