What a gorgeous september afternoon at the champ de Mars for the engagement of Ambrose and Chloé. A Paris surprise engagement is always a beautiful & exciting moment that we enjoy sharing with our couples. We propose various engagement gourmet picnic packages both in Paris and Versailles. Paris Engagement Photographer

Ambrose had decided to propose at the Eiffel tower late afternoon. Our couple had just arrived from Australia the same day. He decided on our first proposal package including a bouquet of flowers as well as one hour of photography.

They enjoyed a traditional picnic menu including a French traditional baguette, a selection of cheeses, selection of cold meats, a market salad, seasonal fruits and desert. We set up our traditional picnic set for them along the main area of the champ de Mars with the Eiffel tower well in sight.

Paris Professional Engagement Photographer.

Any of the engagement package that we propose are coupled with fun and stylish photography. Our Paris professional engagement photographer will guide you every step of the way. You can just relax and enjoy this very special day, you are in very good hands. The idea is to propose when you arrive at the picnic site. We will suggest that you hide your clothes behind the baskets. This way the decor will be flawless. Once you have settled down, we suggest that you actually propose behind the set so that our photographer can take some wonderful photos. Perfect visuals with your gourmet picnic in the foreground and the Eiffel tower in the background in full bloom.

You will have either half an hour with Olivier or a full hour of photography depending on which package you choose. Our Professional photographer would photograph your proposal from the distance when you arrive to the picnic. He will then introduce himself and take some lifestyle photos of the two of you before you enjoy your picnic.

You will then have an hour and a half to enjoy your Picnic. Once you have finished, you can carry on with your photo session around the Eiffel tower for the remaining time. The selection of Ambrose engagement photos presented were taken over one hour so that you have an idea of what to expect from our engagement photo shoot.

Your engagements photos will be edited, retouched and sent out to you via wetransfer in high resolution the next day. Ambrose and Chloé received a selection of over 50 beautiful photographed in high definition format.

There are 1001 ways to propose to your loved one, one of which being flying to Paris!

There are also 1001 ways to propose while visiting Paris. A public park, the river seine, the Eiffel tower, the terrace of a cafe, a local restaurant are among the many picturesque vista that you might consider for a successful engagement in the city.

May we suggest the Luxembourg gardens for your engagement? It is located in the 6th arrondissement of Paris. It is also referred to as the “Jardin du Sénat”. Designed in 1612 by Marie de Medici, it covers 26 hectares in central Paris.

Lets propose in the heart of Saint Germain des Près, in the latin quater at one of the most beautiful park in Paris. Doesn’t that sound like a smashing idea?

Our clients were staying in a lovely boutique hotel on the edge of the Luxembourg gardens. They had great memories of previous Paris trip, wandering the streets of Saint Germain. We thought the gardens of the Luxembourg would be the perfect setting for their engagement in Paris. And indeed it was just perfect!

So our client decided on a gourmet picnic with our deco setting at the Luxembourg to surprise his partner. We had their gourmet picnic ready by 12h00, a little earlier then usual. The park can get a little busy in the afternoon. There are only that many lawns at the garden where you can rest over lunch hour. Parisian often gather on the lawn to catch up with friends, do their week end exercise and chill with a good book. 12h was the perfect timing.

Our deco picnic was set up in the middle of the main lawn overlooking the senat in the background. The deco included a set of cushions, a vintage picnic blanket, a couple of traditional wicker baskets one of which hosting a silver bucket of iced champagne. We also included vintage umberllas over both baskets to shed the food. On the blanket laid a hand written menu with some candles.

Sunrise proposal in Paris

A sunrise proposal in Paris.

This past week end, we organised a sunrise proposal in Paris! Such a gorgeous morning it was. We set up our deco gourmet picnic at the champ de Mars, overlooking the Eiffel tower. We suggested to our client to propose by 8am. This way they could have the whole park to themselves! It was a lovely morning, the park was indeed very peaceful at this time. There were only a few people around, mainly walking their dogs and jogging. Such a Parisian thing to do!

Marius proposed to his girlfriend when they arrived at the picnic site. We organised half an hour of engagement photos prior to the picnic with our professional photographer. The light is gorgeous at this time of the day. If you are an early bird, it is a great idea to get to the park at sunrise.

Your Eiffel tower engagement.

The Eiffel tower area can get a little busy during the day to say the least. Planning your engagement early enough, you will skip the crowd and enjoy a unique Parisian experience. You also will be able to enjoy the city of light waking up to its full beauty. Because our clients are usually a little jetlag travelling to Paris, it is not too difficult to head to the Eiffel tower that early afterall. I assure you it is really worth it! You will get some great photos for your engagement with our professional photographer.

Your engagement photos will be carefully edited and retouched. The selection will be sent out to you in high resolution format the next day. You will receive a wetransfer link that you can send with your parents back home for the next 7 days.

Todays clients enjoyed a bottle of chilled champagne with an iced bucket. French traditional baguette, croissants, a selection of cheeses, a vegetable quiche, smoked salmon, sweets and macarons were part of the menu.

Our deco gourmet picnic are set up with our traditional wicker baskets, vintage table cloths, umbrellas, lovely cushions, candles, cashmere plaids and a written menu. We set up to find the best spot when we arrive on site in the morning. Please note that we do propose gourmet picnics at the gardens of Versailles as well. To do in Paris – Lets enjoy a Gourmet picnic at the park with ” Love Picnic Paris”. Our couple decided on having a professional couple photo session with our photographer as well. Not sure about you but i am not into selfies. I think it is a wonderful idea to have a professional photo session planned while visiting Paris. It is so rare to have gorgeous photos with your loved ones that you want to print and frame on your wall. Some photos deserve more then just a 24hours story on instagram!

Our photographer had one hour with our couple before they enjoyed their picnic at the park. The session is a lot of fun to do! They both look very happy together. A selection of over 80 photos were edited, retouched and sent out by our photographer the next day via wetransfer.

It is easy to download the high resolution files. You can also send the link to family members back home for the next 7 days. The final result is gorgeous, fun, lively and elegant. Love those photos of our clients!

“Love Picnic Paris” for a romantic afternoon.

Our traditional French style gourmet picnics can be set up at various parks in Paris. We are also somehow flexible with timing for the setting up. The details of your order can be fine tuned directly via email so that we keep track of things.

Our clients moved the date of their picnic once to fit in between activities. It unfortunately rained quite heavily on the day of their picnic. We decided to move the picnic time to the next morning. They were staying at a hotel on the champ Elysées. Because of 8th of May festivities, our French president happened to be present on the champ Elysees on that day. All the roads were blocked for a few hours! They couldn’t managed to reach out to us on time. Again, we decided to postpone the picnic later on in the evening.

And YES, bingo, it did worked beautifully finally! All that to say that we can be very flexible with time and everything else. We do our best to make sure that our clients have a great time with us.

Choosing the right location for your picnic.

It does sound simple to set up a picnic around the Eiffel tower. It sometimes gets very crowded specially on week ends. The center area of the champ de mars can get specially overcrowded. The city often decides to close part of the area to let the grass grow as well. We set up in the morning to find the best spot for our clients depending on daily activities.

We decided to set up Ali and Seema’s picnic a little off the side of the main area of the champ de Mars. The spot we chose was quite peaceful, a little sheltered with trees. The light was gorgeous, shining from the tree line off the side (great for photography). We let our clients know of their picnic location roughly 1/2 hour before the beginning of their picnic via geo localization.

All that you have to do is make sure that your phone is on & connected to whatsapp!

A wonderful Paris surprise proposal!

We found out a day later that Mitchell had the intention to propose while visiting Paris with his girlfriend. He had decided to keep it TOP SECRET from everyone in town. Such a wonderful Paris surprise proposal.

Our photographer realized it while Michell took the ring out of his pocket, kneeled down and proposed to his loved one. The photos ( And it is a very personal point of view ) are gorgeous. Why! Because they are not planned, not set up, organized! They were both a little reserved and our professional photographer did a great job in making sure that they were going to have a great time with him. I think that the photos speaks for themselves. They look so HAPPY together! A lot of laughters and a few tears as well … We have amazing clients and we are so glad that we are able to assist them with such an important moment in their life. A Paris surprise proposal is certainly a little stressful to organise specially when you have never been to France before and do not speak the language. It is a real pleasure for us to be part of it.

Mitchell reached out to us with a plan. He was planning a trip with his partner in europe. Few days in Paris, he asked us to organise his surprise proposal.

We set up our gourmet deco picnic for them at a quiet location at the Eiffel tower. Our gourmet deco picnic comes with candles, cashmere plaids, our traditional picnic baskets, a couple of vintage umbrellas, a vintage table cloth, customized menu & cushions. I probably forgot a few things!

Mitchell & Naomi engagement menu: French traditional baguette, A hot vegetable soup, a selection of French cheeses, Smoked Salmon, roasted chicken, a vegetable quiche, sweets, champagne & hot tea.

Our professional photographer is at the picnic site when our clients arrive. We will give you a few general guidelines to help you set up your surprise proposal. You can simply propose when you arrive to the picnic site. We will have your deco picnic all ready for you to enjoy when you arrive. The photography of your proposal can take place when you arrive, this way you have a perfect Paris picnic set up for the pictures. Our photographer will be taking photos of the two of you for the first half hour. You can then enjoy your romantic picnic. Our photographer will come back at the end of your picnic to take you around the Eiffel tower for more photos if you decide on one hour of photography. The set of photos will be edited, retouched and sent out to you the next day. This way you can share some of your engagement photo with both families the next morning.

Wonderful Paris surprise proposal & best Parisian parks.

If the weather doesnt cooperate in the morning, we could wait a little bit or set up the picnic under one of the shelter at the champ de mars. We do have some large size umbrellas at your disposal as well. We would set out to find the best spot when he arrives on the day. We will then confirm the location of the picnic spot via geo localization on your phone after assessing the best possible locations for your event. We would therefore request from you a phone number with prefix so that we can ease up communication in the morning directly with our clients.

All you have to do is enjoy your picnic without having to worry about logistic. We will be on call during the picnic time and present to clear the picnic set up once you are finished. You can simply carry on with your visit in Paris or your engagement photo session following your picnic.

Our Paris surprise proposals will usually take place around the Eiffel tower. Mitchel’s proposal was set up at the champ de Mars. We do also set up our picnic at the Trocadero gardens depending on the days activities!

If you have choosen one of our proposal package including our photographer, an evening picnic is probably more appropriate. This is the time of the day where we would have the best light for photos.

Once you have placed your picnic order with us, we will guide you every step of the way. You will not be left out in the vague! All of our emails are quite detailed. If we have missed out on something important to you, please notify us via email.

Understand that it is not possible to pick up a basket, all of our gourmet picnics include a surprise set up at the park. When you arrive at your picnic location, your picnic will be ready for you to enjoy. We would geo-localize your picnic exact location 20mn prior to your set up time.

If you are travelling with your elder parents, let us know, we will add up some chairs so that they can sit comfortably. We would include a birthday cake with candles for a birthday picnic. It is still a little cold in Paris. It does feel like spring is on its way though. There was a beautiful light outside early morning. Todays clients are enjoying our Stylish romantic deco gourmet picnic at the Trocadero gardens. The Trocadero gardens is a little higher up from street level. You will enjoy one of the best view of the Eiffel tower from the distance accross the Seine.

“Love Picnic Paris” will arrange date and time of the day with you. It is probably best to set up a picnic late afternoon if you wish to have some professional photos. A few things to know if you are planning on reserving a picnic with us. First book your picnic early if you can. We only do one picnic at a time. We are having to refuse clients because the date and time is already taken.

We propose a few options such as flowers, champagne ( included with our deco picnic ), professional photography, musicians for a designed proposal and the service of a professional magician for parties. Prices are on the order page of our website.

All of our picnics are set up for you prior to your arrival. You do not pick and and return baskets, we will take care of that for you. We would be on call while you enjoy your picnic. We will dismantle your picnic for you as well so that you can just carry on with your visit without having to worry about a thing. Your spring time engagement photos will be magical. Your birthday celebration with be amoment to remember.

“Love Picnic Paris” propose gourmet picnic not only for LOVERS for also for birthday parties, bachelorette parties as well. Our party picnics can be set up for you either around the Eiffel tower or the gardens of Versailles. We can cater for up to 30 guests with our traditional gourmet picnic set up. We will set up a surprise gourmet picnic with our traditional French style wicker basket. You will enjoy the most romantic afternoon for your partners birthday celebration.

Morning can be spent going up the Eiffel tower, enjoying the spectacular view over the whole city. You might see us setting up your gourmet picnic with red balloons from hight above. Your birthday picnic can be set up late afternoon as well. You will enjoy the evening lights looking at the Eiffel tower after a busy afternoon walking around town. Time to rest, chill, enjoy a traditional French moment under a beautiful Parisian sky.

Any of our four different picnics can be ordered directly in our website. Head to our service page, enter your date/time, choose your picnics and any of the options that we propose. Add a little note, for a birthday celebration, diatery restrictions & any special request. The process is simple, should you have any question, do not hesitate to get in touch. Reserve your date in advance though, we only do one picnic at a time.

We propose professional photography sessions that can be coupled with your afternoon picnic. The photo sessions can be ordered directly while you chose your picnic. We will guide you through every step of the way once we receive your order. Our couple & family photo sessions are a lot of fun as you can see. Photos are not set up, posed but lively and quite stylish.

You can choose from a mini photo session to one hour on the website. Reach out to us if you are looking at shooting at different locations or starting early with the morning light.
