A family get together over a birthday picnic in Paris is a great way to celebrate. “Love Picnic Paris” will assist you in the planning of a gorgeous picnic at the Eiffel tower to celebrate a lovely afternoon with dear ones. Our Edith PIAF DECO picnic set comes with our traditional French style picnic baskets, cashmere plaids, cushions, candles, umbrellas, lights, balloons, gorgeous hand crafted cloths. We would usually set up our picnic around the Eiffel tower, either at the champ de Mars or the Trocadero gardens. This way you can enjoy a gorgeous view of the tower in the background.

All of the photos on our website are taken by a professional photographer in Paris. We can organize a photo session at the picnic site so that we can have the picnic set as a decor. Our photographer can take the family around the Eiffel tower for a photoshoot after the picnic as well.

We are turning a page on 2022, sharing one of our Paris picnic birthday celebration. It has been a real fun (although quite an intense year) for us. We have had the pleasure to organise many gourmet picnics for an international clientele both in Paris and Versailles. Today, we sit back and enjoy the moment over the festive season with family in Normandy. We haven’t had much time through out the year to share visuals of our picnic productions on Love Picnic Paris. Lets take this opportunity to send our best wishes to everyone for the New Year & celebrate our families and friendships with this picnic story.

Loving our Paris picnics

It has been over 5 years since we prepared our first picnic for a client at the Eiffel tower. Time flies, it is a little crazy. Each year, we are getting a little busier with our picnic ventures. We have met many wonderful people through out the year. Some of our clients, visiting Paris again are coming back to us for another picnic experience. It is wonderful to meet new clients and to catch up with old ones! The original idea was to share a bit of our passion for French traditions in a casual manner. We wanted to share our love for traditional French picnics with good products, good wines and a lot of passion. We are proud to say that “Love Picnic Paris” is successful. We are even getting queries for winter picnics at the Eiffel tower now.

A wonderful Versailles engagement in the spring time.

January is a time to share some of the lovely Paris engagement & surprise proposal photo stories that we had the pleasure to organize with “Love Picnic Paris” this past year. If you visit our blog for the first time, we started ” Love Picnic Paris” over five year ago with the desire to share a little bit of our French culture & lifestyle. We designed 4 different French style gourmet picnics with our traditional wicker baskets and various decor items such as candles, cashmere plaids, cushions … for a very romantic experience!

Our gourmet picnics can be set up at various landmarks around Paris such as the Eiffel tower, the Louvre gardens as well as Versailles gardens.

Today we are blessed to produce our gourmet picnics for amazing clients who visit Paris from all over the world. We are excited to propose our picnics to many couples, families and friends as well as small and larger groups who sometimes visit the city for the first time. Some of our clients even do return to us for a new picnic experience a couple of years later which is very sweet!

Our goal is to create timeless memories with a unique French traditional experience for everyone to enjoy while visiting the city of love.

A gourmet picnic with “Love Picnic Paris” is an adventure! It is a romantic and also a fun and delightful experience. It is about you and your partner, family and friends having a wonderful experience in the city. Lets enjoy a unique afternoon together, surrounded by beauty and French elegance.

Each of our picnics can be coupled with professional photography services. You will be flying home with wonderful souvenirs of your Parisian experience. Our photographer has the right expertise and a fun personality.

A while back, Néo reached out to us with the idea of proposing to his long time girlfriend while visiting the city. Due to international Covid travel restrictions, his plans were delayed a whole year! We all had plenty of time to fine tune the perfect surprise gourmet picnic proposal. Most of our dear clients decide to propose in front of the Eiffel tower. Noah had the idea to take advantage of a day trip to Versailles to propose to his sweet heart. We thought it was a wonderful idea.

Lets plan your surprise proposal at Versailles gardens.

First, we decide on the menu with our clients and the style of picnic they are after. Noah decided on our « Amelie Poulain » gourmet picnic with a bottle of champagne.

The next step is usually to fine tune the exact picnic location. In order to do so, we usually sent a map with a cross marking the spot. We then communicate detailed information as to how to get there. In case of our Versailles location, it is an easy walk down the main alley from the castle to the water boat area!

We do ask for a phone number so that we communicate 1/2 hour before picnic time the exact spot using whatsapp geolocalization which always come handy!

Once the picnic is ready with balloons, blanket and all the different props involved, we send the green light!

Our professional photographer will document our client surprise proposal from the distance. He will then congratulate our couple and take a few more photographs when they toast and cheer to this beautiful day!

Once the lunch is over, olivier will take our couple around the park for their engagement photo story. The process is fun and creative as you can see with this little selection of photos.

We would like to share another one of our week-end gourmet picnic with everyone. Our clients ordered our Amelie Poulain picnic baskets for their lunch at the Eiffel tower. We set up our picnic a little off the main path of the champ de mars. This way our clients could enjoy a little shade and a peaceful moment with their daughters. Oliver, our photographer took a few portraits of the family as well once they finished their lunch. The family photographs are gorgeous as usual. Having a family picnic at the Eiffel tower is a great opportunity to book a professional photographer.

We assist our clients with the planning of their traditional French style gourmet picnic in and around Paris. Our various picnics are the perfect idea for a romantic proposal, a very special engagement as well as a family reunion, a birthday celebration and a lovers get together! One question comes back quite a bit when our clients reach out to us! What do you do in case of rain?

Sometimes it rains in Paris! We have had unpredictable weather forecast this summer, thanks to global warming situation!

It actually rained all morning today. We had a gourmet picnic planned at the Eiffel tower this morning. Ciaran ordered our “Amelie Poulain” with a professional photo session & proposed to his long time girlfriend. Many of you ask us about the rain situation. What to do in case it rains! Do you have a plan B!

Yes we do … Here is what we can do. In case of our clients engagement picnic at the Eiffel tower, we opted for our plan B.

Paris picnic shelter – Champ de Mars.

We usually wait until the day of the picnic to decide on the perfect location. Our clients receive a general map of where about their picnic will be set up via email. We then communicate via text message in the morning and confirm the location again when the picnic is finally set up.

There are quite a few shelters along the champ de mars who were built by Gustave Eiffel at the same time as he built the Eiffel tower. We decided to set up our morning picnic under one of those shelter due to the sudden rain. When our clients arrived to the site, the sky cleared out and it simply stopped. HOURRA …

The grass along the main alley being quite wet still, they enjoyed their picnic at that particular location. We set up their picnic on one of the traditional bench under the shelter.

Champ de Mars gourmet picnics & secret proposal idea – Rain option site.

Ciaran proposed to his girlfriend as soon as they arrived to the site. It was quite moving for the two of them as it was for us too! They are young, beautiful, happy and in love! It is always a very emotional time to share with them. Olivier took some photos from the distance, introduced himself and took a few more photographs as Ciaran opened the bottle of champagne.

Love Picnic Paris for a unique Parisian engagement.

Each and every one of our Parisian proposal are quite unique. We want to make sure we understand our clients needs and special requests. Mark proposed to his girlfriend over at one our gourmet picnic. We had decided on the champ de mars overlooking the Eiffel tower for their Paris engagement celebration. Only we set up their gourmet picnic a little off the main site which can get a little crowded when the sun sets down.

There was a chance of rain on that day as well! It had been raining quite a bit in Paris lately. So we decided to set up their picnic close enough to one of the shelter we use in case of rain. We went out to purchase a couple of umbrellas as well! Lucky enough, the weather was quite nice and we all enjoyed a beautiful evening after all.

Our professional photographer will capture your engagement in a discreet manner as you arrive at the picnic site. We fine tune all of the little details together via email so that the whole event is properly coordinated!

Having said that your Paris proposal is captured in a discreet and natural way. The evening light was really beautiful on this particular evening. Our couple look really happy in those photographs. I do LOVE this big bunch of red roses!

Our photographer will photograph your proposal then take a few photographs of the two of you while you sit down at the beginning of your picnic. You can then enjoy each other over your lunch or diner. Once you are finished, you can just text us, we will come and clear everything up for you. This way you can enjoy Paris and the Eiffel tower with our photographer for the remaining time of your photo session.

Husband and Wife First trip in Paris!

Brittany and Kreg enjoyed an afternoon at the champ de mars overlooking the Eiffel tower with one of our lovely gourmet picnic. They secured our Edith Piaf gourmet picnic a few weeks ahead of time. At the same time, they booked Olivier for some lifestyle photos around the Eiffel tower. No special occasion to celebrate apart from the fact that they loved the idea of having a gourmet picnic all set up for them in the most gorgeous city of ours. A lifestyle photo session is also a lot of fun. It is the opportunity to have some beautiful photos of yourself and your partner done while visiting the city.

Olivier took our couple around the Eiffel tower for one hour following their lunch. He had all of the photos edited down to over 100 final images all retouched. They were sent out directly to Brittany’s email via wetransfer in high definition a couple of days later. We love the result! Our couple are really happy with our photographer. They surely had a lot of fun in the process and I think the result shows it!

It is always such a great pleasure to meet new clients in Paris. Specially at this time of the year, considering the circonstances, it is really exciting to welcome Lovers, partners in crime, friends and families again! Nik had got in touch a few weeks ago so that we could assist him with his proposing to his girlfriend. We decided on an early afternoon gourmet picnic. Nik settled for “Jeanne” with macarons, chocolate cakes, seasonal fruits from the market, more sweets and a bottle of white wine with a gorgeous bouquet of flowers.
Great choice!

Classical musicians for the best Paris proposal.

We organised a violon alto and a cello to play some classical music for their arrival & while Nik proposed to Alex! We are downloading a sample video on our instagram page. So watch out, it is simply beautiful to listen to. Those musicians rock, it was really moving to listen to. If you are looking for musicians to perform during your Paris proposal, make sure you get in touch a few weeks in advance. This way we do have plenty of time to get everything organised.

Romantic photography, fun and simply beautiful.

The photography is stunning! We had a great couple, just so happy and in love with each other. The photos turned our beautifully. Olivier is a real artist, he has this thing to make his clients relax and have a good time with him. We propose 1/2 hour romantic photo session as well as a full hour with Olivier. Olivier would usually take some photos when you arrive at the picnic. It is actually the best time to propose to your girlfriend. You can then enjoy your gourmet picnic overlooking the Eiffel tower. You can then enjoy another 1/2 hour of lifestyle photography with one of the best photographer in town.

The photos are all color corrected and retouched if need be. They will usually be sent over to your email the next day via wetransfer.

Voila as we say in France!
