A few of our clients begin their honeymoon in Paris! It is sometimes their first trip in Europe or their first trip in France. On arrival at Charles de Gaulles, they usually rush to the hotel to check in, refresh and head to the Eiffel tower! The iconic tower is the first sign that their long awaiting vacations has officially begun. It it a privilege to host one of our gourmet picnic for such an occasion. We are very proud to share our passion for picnics and such a traditional French experience with clients from all over the world.

Our picnics can be set up either early morning for a sunrise picnic, over lunch time or late afternoon. You will find different options on our picnic service & order page. We collaborate with the best photographer in town. A photo session is a lot of fun and an experience in itself. Olivier has over 20 years of experience in the industry. To do in Paris – Lets enjoy a Gourmet picnic at the park with ” Love Picnic Paris”. Our couple decided on having a professional couple photo session with our photographer as well. Not sure about you but i am not into selfies. I think it is a wonderful idea to have a professional photo session planned while visiting Paris. It is so rare to have gorgeous photos with your loved ones that you want to print and frame on your wall. Some photos deserve more then just a 24hours story on instagram!

Our photographer had one hour with our couple before they enjoyed their picnic at the park. The session is a lot of fun to do! They both look very happy together. A selection of over 80 photos were edited, retouched and sent out by our photographer the next day via wetransfer.

It is easy to download the high resolution files. You can also send the link to family members back home for the next 7 days. The final result is gorgeous, fun, lively and elegant. Love those photos of our clients!

“Love Picnic Paris” for a romantic afternoon.

Our traditional French style gourmet picnics can be set up at various parks in Paris. We are also somehow flexible with timing for the setting up. The details of your order can be fine tuned directly via email so that we keep track of things.

Our clients moved the date of their picnic once to fit in between activities. It unfortunately rained quite heavily on the day of their picnic. We decided to move the picnic time to the next morning. They were staying at a hotel on the champ Elysées. Because of 8th of May festivities, our French president happened to be present on the champ Elysees on that day. All the roads were blocked for a few hours! They couldn’t managed to reach out to us on time. Again, we decided to postpone the picnic later on in the evening.

And YES, bingo, it did worked beautifully finally! All that to say that we can be very flexible with time and everything else. We do our best to make sure that our clients have a great time with us.

Choosing the right location for your picnic.

It does sound simple to set up a picnic around the Eiffel tower. It sometimes gets very crowded specially on week ends. The center area of the champ de mars can get specially overcrowded. The city often decides to close part of the area to let the grass grow as well. We set up in the morning to find the best spot for our clients depending on daily activities.

We decided to set up Ali and Seema’s picnic a little off the side of the main area of the champ de Mars. The spot we chose was quite peaceful, a little sheltered with trees. The light was gorgeous, shining from the tree line off the side (great for photography). We let our clients know of their picnic location roughly 1/2 hour before the beginning of their picnic via geo localization.

All that you have to do is make sure that your phone is on & connected to whatsapp!

A wonderful Paris surprise proposal!

We found out a day later that Mitchell had the intention to propose while visiting Paris with his girlfriend. He had decided to keep it TOP SECRET from everyone in town. Such a wonderful Paris surprise proposal.

Our photographer realized it while Michell took the ring out of his pocket, kneeled down and proposed to his loved one. The photos ( And it is a very personal point of view ) are gorgeous. Why! Because they are not planned, not set up, organized! They were both a little reserved and our professional photographer did a great job in making sure that they were going to have a great time with him. I think that the photos speaks for themselves. They look so HAPPY together! A lot of laughters and a few tears as well … We have amazing clients and we are so glad that we are able to assist them with such an important moment in their life. A Paris surprise proposal is certainly a little stressful to organise specially when you have never been to France before and do not speak the language. It is a real pleasure for us to be part of it.

Lets Enjoy a Romantic Gourmet Picnic in Paris.

Mitchell reached out to us with a plan. He was planning a trip with his partner in europe. Few days in Paris, he asked us to organise his surprise proposal.

We set up our gourmet deco picnic for them at a quiet location at the Eiffel tower. Our gourmet deco picnic comes with candles, cashmere plaids, our traditional picnic baskets, a couple of vintage umbrellas, a vintage table cloth, customized menu & cushions. I probably forgot a few things!

Mitchell & Naomi engagement menu: French traditional baguette, A hot vegetable soup, a selection of French cheeses, Smoked Salmon, roasted chicken, a vegetable quiche, sweets, champagne & hot tea.

Our professional photographer is at the picnic site when our clients arrive. We will give you a few general guidelines to help you set up your surprise proposal. You can simply propose when you arrive to the picnic site. We will have your deco picnic all ready for you to enjoy when you arrive. The photography of your proposal can take place when you arrive, this way you have a perfect Paris picnic set up for the pictures. Our photographer will be taking photos of the two of you for the first half hour. You can then enjoy your romantic picnic. Our photographer will come back at the end of your picnic to take you around the Eiffel tower for more photos if you decide on one hour of photography. The set of photos will be edited, retouched and sent out to you the next day. This way you can share some of your engagement photo with both families the next morning.

Wonderful Paris surprise proposal & best Parisian parks.

If the weather doesnt cooperate in the morning, we could wait a little bit or set up the picnic under one of the shelter at the champ de mars. We do have some large size umbrellas at your disposal as well. We would set out to find the best spot when he arrives on the day. We will then confirm the location of the picnic spot via geo localization on your phone after assessing the best possible locations for your event. We would therefore request from you a phone number with prefix so that we can ease up communication in the morning directly with our clients.

All you have to do is enjoy your picnic without having to worry about logistic. We will be on call during the picnic time and present to clear the picnic set up once you are finished. You can simply carry on with your visit in Paris or your engagement photo session following your picnic.

Our Paris surprise proposals will usually take place around the Eiffel tower. Mitchel’s proposal was set up at the champ de Mars. We do also set up our picnic at the Trocadero gardens depending on the days activities!

Versailles is one of our favorite place to visit. We do love heading there ourselves from time to time. We decided to to propose to our clients to organize their surprise proposal at the gardens of Versailles a couple of years back. Versailles is roughly 45mn drive from Paris. You can visit the castle in the morning. Take the opportunity of a garden picnic to propose and carry on your visit in the afternoon. Ordering a gourmet picnic is easy. Once you have decided on your preferred menu, you can chose the time of the day you would like us to set up your picnic at the champ de mars or the Trocadero gardens. You will find various options as well which you can easilly add to your order.

You can add a bottle of champagne, a bouquet of flowers for a romantic lunch or a proposal in Paris. We do collaborate with musicians as well as a very talented photographer. All of the prices are listed on our order page.

We propose two different designs for our gourmet picnic set up. Our deco gourmet picnic is featured in this post. It includes cashmere plaids, a customized menu, a set of cushions, candles, umbrellas, a vintage picnic napkin, our traditional wicker baskets. Our deco picnic includes a bottle of champagne.

Professional family photo session.

Here is another example of one of our gourmet deco picnic set up at the Trocadero gardens for a family of four. We organized a one hour family photo session with our professional photographer. The photos are simply gorgeous again! Combining a gourmet picnic with a photo session is the perfect idea for a gorgeous afternoon at the Eiffel tower.

We are the Number One Paris picnic company! Very proud to have launched a gourmet picnic trend in Paris back in 2006. We have been setting up our gourmet picnic at the Eiffel tower and Versailles for numerous clients from all over the world. It has been a lot of fun. The 2023 Paris picnic season is just about to begin. We are already booking our gourmet picnics for couples, families and larger groups up to october 2023!

Today, we wanted to publish a story from this past summer with a family from Porto Rico. It was the 14th of July, our national French holiday. I remember the date because we rarely set up Picnics on the river seine. Only the champ de mars area was all locked off, getting ready for the evening firework celebration. Our clients wanted a view of the Eiffel tower to enjoy their picnic experience in the city rightfully so!

Big blue sky, some colorful balloons, our traditional wicker picnic baskets, red roses, a bottle of champagne orchestrated the perfect Paris birthday celebration.

Exciting day for “Love Picnic Paris”. We have just planned a wonderful proposal at the gardens of Versailles with the most talented engagement photographer. Days are getting longer, spring time is around the corner now. It is a little cold still in Paris & planning a stylish engagement at the gardens of Versailles is a wonderful call of duty.

As always, we had the most amazing time with our clients. It is a blessing to be part of such an important moment in ones life. We have quite a few more engagement picnics planned already for the coming months at the gardens of Versailles. Heading to Versailles for the afternoon is always a lot of fun. Versailles is the most peaceful and enchanted setting for a surprise proposal.

Versailles estate, located 45mn drive from the center of Paris is a cultural & historical delight. Versailles is also the most wonderful setting for our gourmet picnics. We set up our picnics either along the canal or at the park heading towards the Marie Antoinette estate.
