A Paris romantic winter engagement.

There is no real season for a Paris engagement photo session and a traditional gourmet picnic. We had the great pleasure to produce a Paris romantic winter engagement just recently for our clients. Our clients flew all the way from San Francisco. First time in Paris, first time in France for both of them.

Ian reached out to us with the idea of proposing to his girlfriend while staying in Paris. We organized our winter gourmet deco picnic at the Eiffel Tower for them.

Because of the winter season, we may ask you to be a little flexible with time and schedule for your event. We would be in touch the day before to finalize all of the little details together. In case of a rainy forecast during the day, we might suggest to wait a little while or postpone to the next day if possible. We can also set up your picnic under one of the shelter at the champ de Mars.

Paris proposal with a gourmet picnic.

We do propose a winter Picnic menu for the winter season. Our winter deco picnic comes with a traditional baguette, a hot vegetable soup, a selection of cheeses, a selection of cold meats, a vegetable quiche, seasonal salad, fruits and chocolates. Our Paris picnic is also served with hot tea and champagne. An engagement picnic is usually set up either at the Eiffel Tower or Versailles gardens.

Our gourmet winter picnic also comes with a beautiful deco set up. It includes our traditional wicker picnic baskets, a set of designer cushions, a couple of cashmere plaids, a warm cotton blanket, customized menu, candles.

A Paris professional photographer for your engagement.

Any of our gourmet picnics can be coupled with a professional photo session. You will also find detailed information on our proposal page which includes various engagement photography sessions.

This is how it goes!

We make the process very easy. Our gourmet picnic would be set up and ready to enjoy when you arrive at the choosen location. It is usually best to propose when you arrive to the picnic set once settled.

Our photographer would take your surprise proposal photos from the distance. He would then introduce himself and take a few more photographs at the picnic site during the first half hour. You can then crack open the bottle of champagne & enjoy your Paris picnic with your loved one.

You would usually have an hour and a half to enjoy your gourmet picnic. Once you finish your lunch, our photographer can take you around the Eiffel Tower for another half hour. Engagement packages offer different photography lengths from a mini photo session to two hours of professional photography around Paris.

A unique Parisian experience.

Ian and Jay had their engagement photographed when they arrived at the champ de Mars. Following their lunch hour, our photographer took them around the Eiffel tower for the remaining 1/2 hour of photography.

We organised another hour of photography at the Louvre, rue de Rivoli and the gardens of the palais Royal. My favorite location for engagement photos although Paris is simply gorgeous all over.

Fabulous Luxembourg gardens engagement with Tej and Erica this past week end in Paris. Paris is a beautiful city all year long and specially in the fall. The days are simply gorgeous with high temperatures at the moment still the leaves are turning gold already, the light is crisp. The days are also getting a little shorter. We are saying goodbye to a glorious summer season and are now welcoming the autumn with all of its beauty in the city.

We organised a gourmet picnic at the Luxembourg gardens for Tej. The idea was that he proposes to his girlfriend while enjoying our deco picnic at the park. Because weekend can get a little busy at the moment, we decided to have the picnic ready by 12h. We set it up at one of the two lawns that are accessible to the public. The Luxembour garden is certainly the perfect spot for a proposal, overlooking the main fountain and the senat in the background.

For the one of you who have not been to Paris yet, the Luxembourg garden is located in the 6th arrondissement. The garden is steps away from the historical Sorbonne university, as well as the Paris Jazz clubs and art cinemas of Saint Germain des Près. The parc is also a few minutes walk from the seine river and walking distance to “les deux Magots” and the “café de Flore”. Both cafés are a literally institution of the boulevard Saint Germain.

A Paris proposal experience.

You will find our proposal packages in the proposal page of our website. Once we have agreed with the style of picnic with you, we will decide on the location to host your proposal picnic. Tej was set on the Luxembourg gardens for his Paris engagement. We included a bottle of champagne as well as red roses to his romantic picnic.

Tej proposed to Erica when they arrived at the picnic site. Olivier photographed their proposal discreetly from the distance. He then introduced himself and took a few more photographs at the picnic site. Tej and Erica had one hour and a half to enjoy their lunch. Once they finished their lunch, Olivier took our couple around the park for the remaining hour of photography.

A selection of over 50 photographs were sent out to them via we transfer the next day. All of the photos were edited, retouched and sent in high format. Our couple can then announce their engagement to friends and family. They also have a week to share the link with families back home.

This way everyone can enjoy the photos without having to wait for their return.

What a gorgeous september afternoon at the champ de Mars for the engagement of Ambrose and Chloé. A Paris surprise engagement is always a beautiful & exciting moment that we enjoy sharing with our couples. We propose various engagement gourmet picnic packages both in Paris and Versailles. Paris Engagement Photographer

Ambrose had decided to propose at the Eiffel tower late afternoon. Our couple had just arrived from Australia the same day. He decided on our first proposal package including a bouquet of flowers as well as one hour of photography.

They enjoyed a traditional picnic menu including a French traditional baguette, a selection of cheeses, selection of cold meats, a market salad, seasonal fruits and desert. We set up our traditional picnic set for them along the main area of the champ de Mars with the Eiffel tower well in sight.

Paris Professional Engagement Photographer.

Any of the engagement package that we propose are coupled with fun and stylish photography. Our Paris professional engagement photographer will guide you every step of the way. You can just relax and enjoy this very special day, you are in very good hands. The idea is to propose when you arrive at the picnic site. We will suggest that you hide your clothes behind the baskets. This way the decor will be flawless. Once you have settled down, we suggest that you actually propose behind the set so that our photographer can take some wonderful photos. Perfect visuals with your gourmet picnic in the foreground and the Eiffel tower in the background in full bloom.

You will have either half an hour with Olivier or a full hour of photography depending on which package you choose. Our Professional photographer would photograph your proposal from the distance when you arrive to the picnic. He will then introduce himself and take some lifestyle photos of the two of you before you enjoy your picnic.

You will then have an hour and a half to enjoy your Picnic. Once you have finished, you can carry on with your photo session around the Eiffel tower for the remaining time. The selection of Ambrose engagement photos presented were taken over one hour so that you have an idea of what to expect from our engagement photo shoot.

Your engagements photos will be edited, retouched and sent out to you via wetransfer in high resolution the next day. Ambrose and Chloé received a selection of over 50 beautiful photographed in high definition format.

There are also 1001 ways to propose while visiting Paris. A public park, the river seine, the Eiffel tower, the terrace of a cafe, a local restaurant are among the many picturesque vista that you might consider for a successful engagement in the city.

May we suggest the Luxembourg gardens for your engagement? It is located in the 6th arrondissement of Paris. It is also referred to as the “Jardin du Sénat”. Designed in 1612 by Marie de Medici, it covers 26 hectares in central Paris.

Lets propose in the heart of Saint Germain des Près, in the latin quater at one of the most beautiful park in Paris. Doesn’t that sound like a smashing idea?

Our clients were staying in a lovely boutique hotel on the edge of the Luxembourg gardens. They had great memories of previous Paris trip, wandering the streets of Saint Germain. We thought the gardens of the Luxembourg would be the perfect setting for their engagement in Paris. And indeed it was just perfect!

So our client decided on a gourmet picnic with our deco setting at the Luxembourg to surprise his partner. We had their gourmet picnic ready by 12h00, a little earlier then usual. The park can get a little busy in the afternoon. There are only that many lawns at the garden where you can rest over lunch hour. Parisian often gather on the lawn to catch up with friends, do their week end exercise and chill with a good book. 12h was the perfect timing.

Our deco picnic was set up in the middle of the main lawn overlooking the senat in the background. The deco included a set of cushions, a vintage picnic blanket, a couple of traditional wicker baskets one of which hosting a silver bucket of iced champagne. We also included vintage umberllas over both baskets to shed the food. On the blanket laid a hand written menu with some candles.

What could be more romantic then an engagement at the gardens of Versailles!

Our clients had met over six years ago in Paris while studying at HEC business school. They started dating on a day trip to Versailles organised by the school. Christopher remembered that they first kissed while having a picnic at the canal. They had enjoyed a traditional apple tart for desert on that day so the story goes.

Christopher contacted “Love Picnic Paris” a while back with the idea of proposing to his girlfriend Johanna where they first kissed along the canal of Versailles gardens. His special request was to include a traditional apple tart for desert.

Isn’t that a wonderful idea!

Sunrise proposal in Paris

A sunrise proposal in Paris.

This past week end, we organised a sunrise proposal in Paris! Such a gorgeous morning it was. We set up our deco gourmet picnic at the champ de Mars, overlooking the Eiffel tower. We suggested to our client to propose by 8am. This way they could have the whole park to themselves! It was a lovely morning, the park was indeed very peaceful at this time. There were only a few people around, mainly walking their dogs and jogging. Such a Parisian thing to do!

Marius proposed to his girlfriend when they arrived at the picnic site. We organised half an hour of engagement photos prior to the picnic with our professional photographer. The light is gorgeous at this time of the day. If you are an early bird, it is a great idea to get to the park at sunrise.

Your Eiffel tower engagement.

The Eiffel tower area can get a little busy during the day to say the least. Planning your engagement early enough, you will skip the crowd and enjoy a unique Parisian experience. You also will be able to enjoy the city of light waking up to its full beauty. Because our clients are usually a little jetlag travelling to Paris, it is not too difficult to head to the Eiffel tower that early afterall. I assure you it is really worth it! You will get some great photos for your engagement with our professional photographer.

Your engagement photos will be carefully edited and retouched. The selection will be sent out to you in high resolution format the next day. You will receive a wetransfer link that you can send with your parents back home for the next 7 days.

A Paris birthday celebration.

Lets enjoy a Paris birthday celebration for a fun, stylish and elegant afternoon with a romantic gourmet picnic from ” Love Picnic Paris”. Martin surprised his wife with a week end visit to Paris to celebrate her birthday. We set up our “Amelie Poulain” picnic for them at the gardens of the Trocadero. Our photographer took some gorgeous lifestyle photos of the two of them when they arrived at the picnic. It was the perfect surprise for our birthday girl.

We laid out a traditional picnic blanket with our gorgeous wicker baskets on the grass. They enjoyed a bottle of chilled rosé wine with a selection of French cheeses, a selection of cold meats, a market salad, a vegetable quiche, seasonal fruits and a chocolate cake! Photos were a lot of fun. Olivier took them around the Eiffel tower after their picnic for some more photos. They had a full hour with our photographer. The pictures were sent out to them the next day.

The champ de Mars is all very peaceful at this time of the day, waiting for its first load of tourist to arrive! It is an amazing feeling to see the sun rises over at the Eiffel tower. It is also a rare thing to enjoy the Eiffel tower all to yourself with no one in sight.

A Romantic afternoon at Versailles gardens.

Versailles is the most enchanted destination, only a short drive away from Paris. We love setting up our gourmet picnics under one of those historical tree. You can visit the castle in the morning then walk down to the canal to restore yourself with families, friends and loved ones.

We set up our deco picnic for Nicolas under one of the most amazing oak tree of the park. Nicolas proposed to his girlfriend on the most beautiful afternoon. This part of the park is a little off track from the main touristic area. It is really the most amazing setting for a romantic afternoon.

We are often asked for a private setting to organize our proposal picnics. The Eiffel tower area is the first choice for a surprise proposal in Paris. Some of our clients are looking for something a little different, a little more discreet!

Once you decide on proposing at the gardens of Versailles for your engagement, we will plan everything for you so that your engagement is stress free. Our professional photographer will photograph your proposal in a discreet manner. The idea is to propose when you arrive at the picnic site. You can then enjoy your picnic with your loved one. Olivier will then take you around the park for the remaining time if you decide to have an extended photo session.

The photos of your engagement will be edited, retouched and sent out to you the next day. You will receive the photos in high definition format. You will be able to share a link with family back home as well within the next 24hours.
