A little Flash back on one of our clients Paris engagement photographer. They flew all the way from Australia to get engaged in Paris. Our dear clients decided on an Eiffel tower engagement at the champ de Mars on a beautiful september afternoon! We set up our traditional gourmet picnic for them on the grass, close enough to the eiffel tower so that our professional photographer could take some gorgeous photos of their surprise proposal.

We would like to share a few pieces of advices in regards to your Paris engagement. We have been planning our clients engagements in Paris and the gardens of Versailles since 2016. Our French style gourmet picnics have been quite popular. A Paris picnic is certainly a fun & romantic way to propose to your partner while visiting the city.

You may have been recommended by friends or simply stumbled on our website. Welcome to our world of traditional French style picnics that we share with our international client. We produce wonderful gourmet picnics that we set up in parks around Paris for couples and parties up to 30 guests. You will find numerous engagement photo stories going through the pages of our blog. If you like the idea of proposing in Paris while enjoying one of our gourmet picnic, here is a step by step guide to help you with the planning.

Our proposal page A to Z.

I would suggest that you head to our proposal page for general information about our proposal picnic packages. We have crafted our proposal page specially for our couples. The aim is to introduce our engagement packages in more details, either in Paris or Versailles. All of our proposal packages in Paris include various professional photography options. Today’s clients have chosen our traditional picnic set up with our “Amelie Poulain” menu including a one hour photo session. It is our first package including one hour of photography.

Our Traditional gourmet picnic proposal package would usually include either 1/2 hour photo session at the Picnic site, one hour of photography which can be stretched to three hours around Paris. If you simply would like your proposal photographed, our photographer would do so when you arrive at the picnic site. Best is to propose once you’ve settled down, hide your clothes behind the basket! Lets propose, Olivier would photograph your surprise proposal from the distance so that you are not being interrupted!

He would usually reach out via whatsapp a few days before to go through the process with you so that everything runs smoothly.

A Paris engagement photo story.

You may be keen on having an extended engagement photo story around the city once you finish your picnic. Paris is certainly the most amazing backdrop that calls for romantic visuals of your love story. You will find various prices on our proposal page depending on the number of hours you wish to allocate to your engagement photography in Paris.

I would suggest to add a couple of hours if you are big fans of photography. Getting engaged in Paris is really the opportunity to get some wonderful romantic portraits of the two of you. Our professional photographer would take you to the Louvre once you have covered the Eiffel tower area. The river seine is close by to the louvre and calls for utterly romantic visuals as well. My heart goes for the gardens of the Palais Royal as well as the ile saint Louis. I do Love those romantic photo session, they are really a lot of fun with a top photographer.

If you decide on a total of one hour of photography, the idea is to photograph your proposal when you arrive at the picnic site. Our photographer will then take you around the Eiffel tower for the remaining half hour after you have enjoyed your picnic. Our Australian couple had decided on one hour of photography. Propose at the gardens of Versailles.

While Paris is certainly very popular for a proposal, a lot of our clients decide on the gardens of Versailles! Proposing at the gardens of Versailles is a little different from what you would normally do in the city. The idea is to visit the estates in the morning and walk down the park to enjoy our gourmet picnic. We will have your picnic set up in a peaceful setting away from the crowd.

Enjoy your gourmet picnic with your lover, our photographer will take you down the park for your engagement photos once you are finished. I would suggest one hour and a half of photography around the park of Versailles to get a beautiful engagement photo story.

You will also find that we propose two different picnic set up. The first one is a traditional gourmet picnic style with a red and white square mat which you can view on this photo story. The second option is our deco picnic style that we also propose either in Paris or Versailles. It is a little more elaborate with gorgeous deco items described below. (see the photo above).

Our deco picnic set up has a gorgeous romantic feel to it. It includes vintages mats, cushions, retro umbrellas, cashmere plaids, customized menu, candles and a few surprises! Ask us for our Eiffel tower engagement package either with our traditional picnic set or our deco picnic style set up. Think about how much time you would like to have for your engagement photo session. We will assist you with deciding on the perfect location either in Paris or Versailles.

Please note that we add € 200 for a picnic at the gardens of Versailles to cover our expenses for the day.
